Beyond Youth Custody

Welcome to Beyond Youth Custody

12 April 2013

This new programme aims to improve the resettlement of young people leaving custody through expanding and developing the existing evidence base of effective practice, and consequently reduce reoffending rates. Run by crime reduction charity Nacro and funded by the Big Lottery Fund, it’s a partnership that brings together the expertise of leading research and academic institutions ARCS (Applied Research In Community Safety Ltd), the Centre for Social Research at the University of Salford and the Vauxhall Centre for the Study of Crime at the University of Bedfordshire.
