Exciting job opportunity to join the Beyond Youth Custody research team

The University of Salford is seeking to recruit a part time Research Assistant to join Beyond Youth Custody’s dynamic research team and work alongside members of staff from the University of Salford, the University of Bedford, ARCS (UK) Ltd and Nacro.

The postholder will undertake research into the effective resettlement of young people leaving custody, sharing best practice in this area and contributing to debates in policy. The postholder will be asked to carry out a range of research tasks ranging from interviewing resettlement practitioners, young people, and stakeholders, conducting analysis, preparing literature reviews and academic writing.

The post will be based in Salford, with some opportunities for working from home, but will also involve field work across England.
